West London Philosophy (WLP) organizes meetings for people with an interest in philosophy in the Twickenham and Teddington areas. We aim to organize 10 philosophy meetings per year (approximately monthly except in July and August).
Most of our meetings take place on weekdays from 8.00 pm to 9.30pm, generally on a Monday. Philosophical topics are introduced by one or more of our regular attendees and we always allow time for discussion. There is a small attendance charge to pay for accommodation. We also arrange occasional Saturday Schools with professional philosophers. They run from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm and there is a £10 charge for them,
All events are held in the upstairs meeting room at The Adelaide Public House, Park Road, Teddington (close to Teddington railway station, with plenty of free car parking in the adjacent roads).
Note that The Adelaide offers a wide range of food – WLP regulars often gather from 6.45 pm onwards before evening meetings or at 12.30 pm onwards before Saturday Schools for a meal.
Our Next Meeting: Details of our next meeting and of future WLP meetings can be found here.

As of 2024, WLP has been working very closely with The Kingston Philosophy Café – see https://e-voice.org.uk/kingstonphilosophycafe/ – we are now very pleased to be sharing events and meetings with them.
